Costume Shop Supervisor needed for Fall 2009 semester
Anticipated Temp Costume Shop Manager Position Fall 2009

We are anticipating a maternity leave replacement opening in our shop this coming fall term. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional theatre technician building or contemplating a career in academia, or journeyman freelancer interested in management.. .. even a sabbatical gig for experienced teachers. We are hoping for someone who can bring something to our campus as a guest that we don't usually have.... Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be looking for work this fall, and post it on your call board:

Appropriate technical and managerial guidance for student designers; training for lab students in basic sewing is expected. Attendance at dress rehearsals as deemed necessary. Purchasing for shows and general supply will be coordinated with resident staff/faculty. Teaching and possible design opportunities exist, commensurate with experience and interest.
